Join us for the Kunstuni Linz International Universities Seminar (KLIUS 2026) on September 10th at the University of Arts Linz, located in the heart of the city. We invite papers, artworks, research, and other scholarly projects exploring artistic expression at the intersection of art, technology, and society.

The seminar offers educators, students, artists, and researchers a platform to present their work and receive constructive feedback. Held during the Ars Electronica Festival, it provides an ideal space for networking and creative exchange among international guests. You are welcome to submit your work as either a digital presentation (such as slides) or an analog poster.

Participators will be grouped into panels of 3-5, depending on the topics of the presentations.

  • All locations are also easy to reach on your own or with a rental bike. There are public bike racks on the roads around the university as well as dedicated bike racks in the courtyards. You can get an overview of how to get there using the Radlobby Linz online cycle map.
  • You can also switch to the local bike rental system at the train station. In Linz there are the Citybikes powered by next bike - you can rent them via app. You can reach all our locations from the main train station with a Citybike, the pick-up and return stations are in the immediate vicinity. At Hauptplatz (station 41615), Pfarrplatz (41628) and Ludlgasse (station 41642). Find out more under Citybikes.
